The Training and Placement Cell is one of the most important committees of believing in providing promising career opportunities to aspiring pharmacy students. The cell acts as a strong link and facilitator between potential recruiters, encompassing pharmaceutical industries, Clinical Research organizations, medical communications, Insurance, FMCG, Hospitals, Advertising & Marketing Agencies, and students in order to ensure that our students get placements on campus.
The members of the Cell have since its inception, played an important role in providing diverse opportunities to our students to explore and participate in the practical aspects of pharmacy fields through internships as well as long-term research assignments. The Cell is committed to empower students with pre- placement skills that ensure best placements. We offer internships to all our students, across all our programmes that enhance their awareness of the world of work, accelerate personal maturity, self- awareness and ability to articulate skills and achievements thereby creating competitive professionals.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinating with Final year B.Pharm and M.Pharm students for Registration and placements.
- Updating the placement and Internship details on the college website and social sites.
- Conceptualizing the Placement Brochure and Printing.
- Organizing career counselling seminars and Guest lectures as per the industry needs
- Monitoring the market trends and analysing the job opportunities.
- Coordinating with the Industries and follow up for job avenues and Internship.
- Arranging of Mock Personal Interviews and Technical Interviews.
- Acquiring feedback from Employers
Expected Outcome
- To conduct career counselling seminars and provide necessary training to fill in the gaps which will eventually improve the standard of placements.
- To achieve 100 per cent Placement.
- To create a good CTC benchmark.
- To increase the database with new companies.

Summer Internship
Third Year B. Pharm Students have to undergo a one month industrial training. Internship programmes are arranged so that students can gain adequate exposure to industry and can come across with real time industrial problems. Internships are done in collaboration with industry and research centres. Students prepare a report on the project and submit the same to the college for evaluation. Students get to work as interns in pharmaceutical companies.
